Poured Concrete Services

Poured concrete installation generally requires a subgrade (the soil the pavement is built on), a subbase (the materials between the subgrade and the pavement), or a base course and steel reinforcement when necessary. The concrete may be 4” thick, which is standard for normal wear and tear, while commercial or heavy-duty use requires 5-6” thickness.

It’s worth noting, though, that the basics can change quickly. Your contractor should know whether the project calls for 3,000-5,000 PSI or frost footing, recognize whether a ¼ or ⅛ slope is ideal, and be well-versed in the relevant ADA codes and complex blueprints. Make sure they have carefully reviewed the engineering specs, and that they can pinpoint potential contradictions in architectural plans before the project begins.

Again, this is where CCFC comes in. We’re experts in this field and can be relied on for concrete installations, repairs, sealing applications, and stamped concrete. We’ll also go to bat for you, each and every time.
